Salary: $60,000 – $80,000
Required education: Bachelors & current CPA or in process
Required experience:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or working towards obtainment of licensure.
- 2-5 years tax experience tax experience including tax planning, compliance, and preparation
- Thorough knowledge of the tax impact to individuals and their business and investments
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines is a must
- Strong organizational, time management and follow through skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Integrity, dependability, and trustworthiness
- Bachelor degree in accounting required
- Assist managers on client engagements
- Develop and implement tax-efficient structures
- Prepare complex tax returns for corporations, partnerships, LLCs, S-corporations and individuals
- Prepare or review tax estimates and projections
- Participate in manager led, wealth & tax strategy calls with clients
- Research and manage complex tax matters, including planning and compliance
- Respond to inquiries from regulatory authorities
- Detailed reviews of tax returns and provide feedback to staff
- Staying current on recent tax developments within the US
- Research and participate in planning opportunities for international clients
- Demonstrate qualities of a team leader and assist in mentoring Tax Staff
- Manage chargeable hours and realization
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters of Tax degree preferred
- Big 4 firm experience preferred
Computer and Systems Skills
- Computer proficiency with software programs such as RIA Checkpoint, UltraxTax, Workpapers, Practice
- Management, QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
